Introducing
Harry's Game
By Karl Jackson
A series of novels following the adventures of Harriet Cornwall, a young woman who finds herself in the heart of the Second World War fighting for her life, her friends, and her place in the world.
The first book in the series, First of the Few, was released in November 2019.
In addition to Harriet Cornwall's adventures, the Harry's Game series includes a number of stand alone books involving some of the other characters in Harriet's world. The first of these was Falling Shadows, released in November 2025, telling the story of Emily Strachan, a Nurse and good friend of Harriet's. Followed by Forgotten, the story of Molly Halliday, an Air Raid Precautions Warden in the Blitz of 1941.
Harriet's Story
Since 2019, the Harry's Game series has told the story of a young Englishwoman who, in May 1940 was dragged into the heart of the Second World War, when the might of the German war machine crashed into France.
Significant events in the history of the period, from the miracle of Dunkirk to the Battle of Britain and beyond, are seen through the eyes of a young woman as she fights for her life in a world at war.

Emily's Story
In November 2025 Emily Strachan stepped out of the shadows, having first being introduced in Hell's Corner, the second book in the Harry's game series.
Having stepped out of the shadows, Emily quickly stepped back into them again as she signed up to serve her country to 'do her bit' in a very different way.
From London in the Blitz to looking the enemy directly in the eyes, this is Emily's story...
Molly's Story
As Emily Strachan's story came to the fore, that of Molly Halliday had already started to take form.
In May 2026, 85 years since The Blitz devastated what became known as 'A Northern Coastal Town', Molly stepped forward to tell the story of life in Britain under the darkness of the German air raids.
This is Molly's story...

Project H
With twelve books in the Harry's Game series published and enjoyed, 2025 was time to take the project on the road to tell stories and talk about history, with a promotional tour around the UK to introduce Harriet Cornwall to those who haven't yet met the determined and likeable young fighter pilot and her growing collection of friends.
2026 has followed the success of the 2025 tour, with displays so far at the Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre at East Kirkby in Lincolnshire, and the West London Aero Club at White Waltham, with more visits to East Kirkby to come, and a long planned appearance at the Pickering 1940's weekend.
